Deuteronomy 17-20 – March 17

18:9 “When you enter the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations.”

It was not in their nature to practice spiritism like these other nations. This disobedience was a learned and imitated rebellion. It may have seemed natural to the people of those nations. (14 For those nations, … listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners ...) But, simply because an entire culture practices sin, it does not cause that sin to be any less of a separation from our Father God.

Whether it is a purposeful education or an accidental pick-up of a habit, please be careful what you learn and imitate!

When you live in the Spirit and the Word, the culture YOU create is far more followable and profitable to mankind than any worldly culture.

Be an influencer for God’s Kingdom culture.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
