Chapters 9 and 10 are created to be an acrostic, where the initial letters of successive verses follow the order of the Hebrew alphabet, perhaps to aid in the memorization process.
Chapter 16 stood out to me as a particularly beneficial
chapter. It gives us a hint of the resurrection of Jesus in verse 10 … “Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.”
This verse is also quoted in Acts 2:27 when Paul was trying to convince the men
of Israel of Who Jesus was.
I especially love the reassurance of verse 11.
16:11 You will make known to me
the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;
I think I will include this in my morning prayers, because I
find myself praying a great deal about the path of my life, ministry, family,
etc. Sometimes I simply need to remember that He will make known to me all that
I need to know about my path, if I will just listen.
James 1:5 But if any of you
lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without
reproach, and it will be given to him.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of
the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness,…
