1 Chronicles 3-5 – April 25

I love it when I find spiritual nuggets in the Bible, especially when I don’t really expect to. Yesterday, I found such a nugget in 1 Chronicles 5:20 in the middle of genealogy business.

“They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.”

 

He answered their prayers BECAUSE they trusted Him!

Trust came before the answer.

Trust came before the answer.

Trust came before the answer. (repeated for dramatic effect)

 

Are you seeking an answer from God today? I am. If I truly am trusting God for this answer, then it is no longer something for which to be anxious.

Do not allow stress or anxiety in your life.

 Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

 Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
